Upper-end Townhome Renters Not Listening!

pampammer profile photo

Hi,

I have a luxury townhome in Orlando, Florida and my renters have blocked the A/C intake partially by a sofa. I have asked them to move the sofa so the intake is not partially blocked, but the sofa is not going anywhere.

Enough verbal warning ... what is the next course of action? how about eviction based on mistreating the property?

thank you, Pam

What is the potential damage to your system and or your property if the return is only partially blocked? I am not sure I see any.

Any HVAC experts here that can help?

had the same problem with the 2nd last house we bought...when we got ready to put in new carpet...we had a handyman relocate the vents where they would not be covered by sofas or entertainment centers...worked out great...CWal
