Tenant Uses SD For Last Month Rent
Hello, one of my tenants refused to pay last month rent saying that I should use the security deposit. The apartment is so badly damaged, that it will take 3 - 4K to fix it. Her mother is on the original lease, but does not have a signature on the extension. Is mother still liable for the rent?
Call your lawyer! No matter how you look at this you're going to end up in court suing them or you're going to eat the cost.
