Hi, I am starting a property management company and Iwouldlike to know what type of bond I should have for my company. My fear is that in the event I were to say get robbed after collecting rents, that I would have insurance to protect my company.

Isn't a srety bond, also known as a performance bond... based off the companies "performance"

I actually have a client of mine in Essex county N.J., looking for a $2M performance bond, if any can help it would be appreciated.

You may also want to consider the better business broker group you can find them online they provide small business insurance coverage. I recently got a 1million liabilty coverage... check them out..and good luck.

Most commercial insurance Agents/Agencies should be able to get you such a bond quickly and relatively inexpensively...
