Security Deposit 1099 Question
Hello All,
I recently went throiugh an eviction for a property i own and now the tenant is aking for her security deposit back along with a 1099. Now she owes us 3 months of rent so she wont get the $$$ back, but what about the 1099. I am not really sure hpow this works and just learned her deposit was supposed to be inj a interest bearing account. (new to lnadlording). Since she owes us 3+ months rent and the house was left in a shambles is there something I need to do? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
