Section 8 Tenant Question

Nuetrino profile photo

I have a section 8 tenant who has good references and wants to rent my house. The only problem is that she can only rent a house for $900 max through them. Mine is $1150.

She said she would pay the difference but asked if I would list the rental as $900 so she could get the section 8 assistance.

Is there a creative way to bridge this gap and not be fraudulent? Any ideas?

In NC, Section 8 does not allow us as Property Managers to accept any additional rent that is not listed on their rental amount with Sect.8. This will get us AND the tenant kicked off the program. You should check to make sure it is legal in your State.

Thank you, Im just doing what I do best, leverge is the golden key. Always position yourself in a leverage position. All rules have legal loop holes, just have to find them.
