Contact your local Public Housing Authority office. In CA section 8 is administered by the county. Also the amount they will pay depends on the tenant situation (# of people, income, etc.).

It depends on how much money your tenant makes.
    Remember Location, Location, Location!
On a 1BR , again depends on the location, the apartments usually go for 375-425, but it's an apartmant with no yard, go for 450-500
2 br - what's the square footage, how many baths, what about parking, is there a garage, is the yard fenced and is it convienant? 500-650 I've seen 675
    3br- same questions 650-825
However in the past I've seen where sec 8 has been way behind on payments....
not trying to shy you away from Sec 8 housing, I have some Sec 8 homes and they are great at getting me my money, however there has been times where I've billed and not recieved as per guidlines.
    ....HMMMMMMMMM :-o :-o

NO it don't, always Remember no Discrimination Rules apply to everyone.
we can't and shouldn't charge more for these types of homes. Besides, you can rent those homes easier! grin

I have a rental in Indianapolis. It has 3 bdr and 1 bath. No AC or garage. I get $650 with the section 8 tentant. If you have central air, another bathroom or garage then you may get more.

It would have been easier to give you a more specific response if you would tell us your city and state location. Please consider updating your profile with this information.

So far, the best answer you received is from EdmeyerContact your local Public Housing Authority office. You can find their telephone number in the County Government section of your local telephone directory.

You have to do some work on your own from this point on to get more accurate information for your area.
