Section 8 Housing In Metro-Detroit!
Does anyone know anything about section 8 housing in the Detroit area (or any where in the country, although, I think each state has it's own rules).
I am trying to find out how to become eligable, what types of housing qualifies, etc. and am having a hard time finding info.

Hello Avery the section eight can be a great program the gov guarantees your rent each month. As far as I know any type of rental dwelling such as an apartment, house, or multi unit on up can qualify as section eight property. As long as it passes inspection by HUD. The more bedrooms you have, the more you can get for your rental unit. It also depends on the location of the rentalas well. More expenses cities to live in HUD pays more.
