Renting Garages
Looking for advice on renting garages. I recently purchased a 3 unit with 2 detached garages I"m renting sep. Have my first "showing" tomorrow.
Any advice on restrictions, specific lease provisions for a garage, etc?

I have heard of garages begin remodeled to become rentable. I would just want to make sure these garages were to code, and rentable per zoning. Call you local county.
an after thought: Are you renting garages to live in (which is how I first interpreted), or to park vehicle / storage?
Just for parking/storage. The municipality where they are located won't allow them to be renovated for apartments.
I'm ooking for suggested prohibitions/provisions for the leases. Maybe stuff I hadn't thought of!
