Receipt?
Just got payments for first months rent.. I bought a property that had tenants aready.. My question is what kind (if any ) of receipts do you give to tenants when they pay,,? I want to help the tenant build his credit back up from a divorce by showing timely payments that he has maid....?
Get some rent receipt books at an office supply store,stationary store, and Walmart. These are generic. You can also report to the credit bureau's.

My tenant's cancelled check is their receipt. I do not accept cash.
Im not sure if all banks send cancelled checks.... or do they if it is requested?
