Quicken Tools To Manage Multi Units

I just figured out how to set up Quicken so that I don't have to use spreadsheets any longer. Is this worthy of an article?

Comments appreciated.

Of course. Look forward to reading it.

Personally, I am looking at setting up my bookkeeping in Quickbooks. I think it is a more robust program and I am hoping that I will be able to electronically transfer my property data directly to the appropriate Schedule E detail items in TurboTax.

If you have a schema for Quicken, it may save me from using a more complex accounting application to do the same job.

I for one would be interested in how you did it. Also, I have heard that there are tax programs(I think TurboTax was one of them)that will import data from Quiken. It would be fantastic if there was a way to have a tax program take all of the information off of Quiken automatically for your rentals..

Does Quciken allow you to post one Cash invoice from Home depot or a credit card invoice to several units? We have been looking for some kind of RE software for months and most do not allow this type of transaction. My wife is the genius when it comes to accounting, and me, the guy that swings the hammer, I'm trying to find the right software, go figure.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I use QB for my rentals, 12 houses with 28 units. There is an add on you can use, I dont want to get banned for telling you what it is, but look around at some ****This URL Not allowed****ing sites and you can find it. Works great.,
