Parking And Rental Properties - Need Advice

yehoshua30 profile photo

Hi,
I'm in the market to buy a 2 or 3 family property in the North NJ area. I was looking at one home and the
realtor told me that perhaps this one home hasn't sold as quickly as some others is because the only available parking for the tenants is on the street.
(The home is fully rented)
I can understand how this can be a a concern going foward, but is this a major issue when thinking of purchasing?
Thanks for the advice.

    Yes...

Everything is an issue especially when developing your bid....
Now that the door is open, if you are interested....Low Ball do to the undesireable and concerning factor of the issue involving the no parking problem of your future tenants.....

I'm not familiar wiht your area but I do know that in my locale off street parking is huge. For some tenants it can be a deal breaker. Is there land with the property where you could put some parking? This would affect cost but you could adjust for this going into the deal.
