Lease With A Sub-lease
Hi,
I met with a prospective tenant who is not going to live at my property. He will sub-lease it to students and veterans. The rental agreement will be between him and me and he will pay the rent. How risky that agreement and sub-leasing in general could be? Any advice?

Thanks for advice. My main concern is how well the occupants will take care of the place - I just had complete interior remodeling done. I guess my only choice will be to check out the property every couple months at the beginning. I have rejected a number of tenants already (Section 8 with unemployed mother and 5 kids or a family with 2 pitbulls) and this option doesn’t look that bad.
