I believe it is. We evicted someone in a week and a half. We saved alot of time by running back and forth between the courthouse and the Sheriff's Department ourselves though. We didn't use a lawyer either (I called one and they said it would be at least a $ 1200 retainer plus expenses)
They told us the process usually takes up to 3 weeks. The tenant also thought she had 3 weeks. We were VERY happy it went so fast.

Up here in NC the whole process takes about 3 weeks just to get a court date??
Now of course this isn't because of a drug offense or something like that.
