Landlord Policy For Single Family Homes

I am looking for an insurance company that will insure my rentals with a landlord policy. I perferr the liabilty to be at 300,000 or 1 million and the beneficary will be the LLC. I am in fl :-?

    Start looking at the larger insurance brokers and talk to somone in commercial insurance.

    Talk to other landlords in your area to find out who writes the insurance. I do not think you will find liability coverage above 300k.

    There are insures, co-insures, additional insures. There is a good article on this somewhere on this forum.

    Does the LLC have title on the property?

    The deed warranty will be held in a trust and the llc will be the beneficary. LOL

    Try a regular policy and look into a 1 million dollar umbrella policy.

    State Farm will go up to 1mm on each property AND let you buy a 1mm umbrella that covers everything. In my total risk scheme, 2mm per house is enough to mitigate most risks.
