I am looking for an insurance company that will insure my rentals with a landlord policy. I perferr the liabilty to be at 300,000 or 1 million and the beneficary will be the LLC. I am in fl :-?
State Farm will go up to 1mm on each property AND let you buy a 1mm umbrella that covers everything. In my total risk scheme, 2mm per house is enough to mitigate most risks.

Start looking at the larger insurance brokers and talk to somone in commercial insurance.
Talk to other landlords in your area to find out who writes the insurance. I do not think you will find liability coverage above 300k.
There are insures, co-insures, additional insures. There is a good article on this somewhere on this forum.
Does the LLC have title on the property?
Brenda
The deed warranty will be held in a trust and the llc will be the beneficary.
Try a regular policy and look into a 1 million dollar umbrella policy.
Good Luck,
