One thing that keeps just about anything away is moth balls there is also a small unit that can be purchased that gives off sound waves that the human ear can not hear but animals can but you can not use it in the same area that a dog or cat is around it drives them nuts..
no its not a spray it is a sound emiter you plug into the wall. It keeps everythign away from mice to bats find it in a home depot or any place like that. There not really that costly
