How Do I Report Deadbeat Tenants To The Credit Bureaus

i have had deadbeat tenants in the past who have left and owed me money, and would like to start reporting those debts to a collection agency so that those debts will appear on their credit reports. i had this done to me in the past, and it is very effective. how do i do this without having to go to court and getting a judgment? it is in my lease that debts will be reported to the credit bureaus.

Typically you must get a court judgment to have this added to someones credit. Small claims court is very easy and I recommend you pursue it. Most jurisdictions have free advice on the process and often the forms can be downloaded online.
