Can you legally do this? Can you legally go in and inspect their homes for damage? Just curious. And if there is damage, what do you do to get them out? How do you address them having problems?

In most rental contracts there is a clause about being able to inspect the property. It will clarify the circumstances that inspection / entrace to property can be done. Usually you must give some notice unless there is an emergency.
