Good Landlording/Property Managment Book For First Time Investor

sharpREI_PA profile photo

Can anyone tell me a good book that will help understanding landlording and/or property management? I heard of a book called "Mr.Landlord" that is supposed to be quality.

Any suggestions...feel free to post.

The "for dummies" book is really good. It is either "Property Management" or "Landlording". My only complaint is that it does not have the forms on CD. I had to scan them then OCR them. It is a very easy read with excellent advice.

I have also read Every Landlords Legal Guide. It is very good but in much more detail.

The "end-all, be-all" book, according to most investors I know, is "Landlording" by Leigh Robinson.

I'm just getting started in this realm, too, and it's giving my brain lots of new angles to think about. Got my copy from Amazon, and am only on page 45, but have learne a good bit. My hi-liter has been busy.

No forms on CD, but if you look at the sample forms in the book, you'll see that you can pretty much type them up yourself in Word in five mins or less.

    'Luck!
