Excel Templates?

BobSmith32 profile photo

Several folks have mentioned using Excel to manage properties instead of buying expensive software programs dedicated to property management.

Right now I only have one property, but am bidding on more. Can someone share their Excel templates, or point me to a website where they might be downloaded?

Thanks.

Bob

CCIM site has great excel spread sheet for ANALYZING the deal, not for management. I use quick books pro.

Rent right will work great for you. Do a search in Google and you'lll find it. There is a free download on their site.

Here's what I'd do Bob. Download the free rent right software and build your Excel based around that. When the DEMO runs out, the spreadsheet takes over.

As far as setting up the spreadsheet. I'd set up multiple pages. One for each property with the rents, fees, repairs and such. Then you could create a summaries page that pulls totals off the other pages for a "quick-glance" look at how you are doing.

Excel is a powerful tool, and it doesn't stop at 10 properties either. The sky's the limit.

    Hope this Helps
