Anyone used borax to kill roaches? Was it successful? Where did you apply it?

    Borax or Boric acid
Had big black ants inside property. Mixed boric acid with sugar, sprinkled it outside and next day did not have ANY ants anywhere for over 2 years. Now have little itty bitty tinny brown ants. Note. Mixture killed all weeds, flowers etc around perimeter of house. Bought 50 lb bag of boric acid from chemical supply house. Cheaper. Of course placing bugs between two pieces of wood and slaming them together works. takes a little time

    Great! Thanks haynesm!
Do you replace the stuff when it rains and washes it away?

For roaches we use Max Force Roach Gel. You must apply it liberally and again within a 2 week period to get the kid roaches.

In honor of this thread, I just went out to my front yard and chopped a bunch of anthills up with my garden hoe (as opposed to my... well, you know) to get em all angry and riled up, and then sprinkled Boric Acid onto each of them! HA! DIE ANTS DIE!

    Small joys.
