Bad Odor Inside The Unit ONLY When It Rains
Hello all,
I have a townhome that was built 9 months back. Tenant compain that when it rains, the side of the property facing backyard gives out bad odor.
The builder does not think there is anything they can do. I was wondering how I can approach this to make builder pay more attention to this trying to get to the bottom of this problem.

is there a septic or is it city water?
are you going to have to do the research to determin is the smell inside or outside. where is the smell the strongest. is it heavy rain or light rain that produces the smell. etc. Once you narrow it down, then the builder might be more willing to pay attention, or you might find that it has nothing to do with the builder.
