Back Yard Lawn Control By Using Weed AND Grass Killer......

telebroker profile photo

What do you all think about using weed and grass killer for an entire lawn? Just the backyard, which is not really seen by the public. It would certainly help to not have to mow the lawn for an entire season. But is this safe to do on a regular basis, year after year?

What is your objective? No grass to mow?
Applying that much pesticide would not be healthy for the person applying it and also it getting into the water supply.

A systemic grass/weed killer like Roundup will last for about 3 months but generally not for an entire season.

Where I live, the grass is removed and replaced with a desert landscape-primarily stone. We call it Xeriscape

Hmm, do you have to dig pretty deep in order to keep the grass and weeds from eventually poking out through the stone landscape?
