Question About Writing A Mortgage
My partner and I want to aquire a property. I will be putting up most of the cash so instead of just writing a promissory note or some such I would prefer to lend the company the money as a mortgage on the property. How do I go about writing the mortgage. DO I have the papers drawn up and forward them to the closing company?
Smart man. That is how I would do it if I was on the heavy side of an inbalance of funds.
Only for the imbalance amount, though, and your partner would need to agree with amounts, terms and conditions.
Just handle it as if you were a 3rd party lender.
