Can anyone tell me the best place to open a bank account under the name of my LLC which will yield some sort of interest while allowing me to access these funds readily if need be ? Places like "ING" and GE wont allow you to open an account in the name of an LLC . Am I "doomed" to open a conventional business account which will not pay any interest ? Please advise

Not to rain on your parade but why worry about making 1% on your money when you can be using that money to buy real estate and net thousands of percent return?

I have found several commercial paper funds (best I can describe) issued by Ford and GM.

That pay daily interest, allow entities to open accounts, and grant checkbook access as well as same day wire transfers.

2.5% for a "money market account" isn't bad. This is a security and is not FDIC insured.
