Creating Owner Financed Notes

lostonian profile photo

Can someone recommend a few good educational books on creating owner financed notes? I want to look at doing that in the near future. I would also like to be educated on what a "note buyer" looks for as a good deal so that I can always have a cashout option if needed to a note buyer. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    You have several options
    1)
Visit local county public record office, and go through a deed of records, you should be able
to find some owner financed mortgage documents. Make copies of those which
looks good to you. Then use those copy as examples and create your own owner financing documents.

    2)
Find a real estate laywer who familar with loan or mortgage finance and have him/her create documents based on your terms.
Those offices do real estate closing often have stuff of laywers familar loan origination and they do this on routine basis.

Good luck.[ Edited by landairsea on Date 07/17/2004 ]
