Closing As Hurricane Approaches
Can anyone tell me if I am legally obligated to go thru with a closing (tomorrow) as Hurricane Jeanne is headed directly at the location of the property ? I have a standard bilateral purchase agreement for a single family dwelling.

Can you get homeowners insurance written on it? If not, then you cant close if your getting a mortgage. Lenders require insurance.
