Utilities In Duplex
I am pursuing a 2 2BR 1BA duplex. Both have separate water and electric meters but hot water, cooking and heating is gas and is suplied from a single meter. What would be a way to charge the tenants for gas? The thermostat is in the ground floor unit and therefore the upstair tenant is at the mercy of the other when it comes to heating. How could I handle the situation? Thanks for any suggestions.
