Different jurisdictions, cities, counties, etc., have different rules & definitions on this...so check with your Bldg & Land Dept to see what they will allow for your property.
And if your RE is in a PUD (planned unit development) you'll have to read & comply with your HOA (home owners association) rules too.

Thanks. Thats where it is stated in the HOA. Would that apply to monthly rentals or weekly. Jim

To shortcut your questions, call the lawyer for the HOA and ask him what you can do as far as renting your property.
He/she'll know, and has probably been through this with some other owner there in the HOA.

Thanks I will do that. The stste calls transient anything less than 30 days. I assume the HOA is the same. Jim
