Question About Mobile Home Rehabbing

I know of a couple of mobile home parks in my area that have trailers for sale, some relatively cheap with probably some minor maintenance needed. Has anyone here started in RE by buying and rehabbing mobile homes to rent out or sell? Any suggestions for this?

You can make a good living off of doing it. The main thing is to watch the age of the mobile homes. It doesnt make financial sense to put money into a mobile that is over 20 years old. Also dont forget that until it is resold or rented out you will be responsible for the lot rent which will slowly dwindle your profits away if you dont move quickly. My advise is to put it under contract where you arent responsible for lot rent until it is sold or rented (usually 60 days is done), or sell it as a rehab after you put it under contract.

    Good Luck,
