Inspection First?

doll profile photo

I am interested in putting in an offer on a multi unit home. My question is do i have an inspection done first before i put an offer in or wait until they accept the offer? What if there are are major problems with the house and the offer was accepted, what then? Do i do a contingency on the offer? Advice me please. Thank you.

I would get the offer accepted first. If there is a problem with the inspection you can always to an addendum to the purchase stating what you would like done or an amount you would like taken off of the purchase price.

    Best of Luck!

    Yep,

Offer first, then addedum stating offer is contingent upon inspection and buyer has X days to inspect the property and cancel the contract if neccessary.
