Buying Rental Property With A Well...

Is it true that if one owns a rental with a well as the water source, that you have to get the water checked every year or more? I havent bought yet, but just wanted to check with the more experienced. I am in Oregon. Thanks for any help! smile

    Dear Klamath55,

Lucky you, sounds like a winner. What is your sun line like? You know Solar Panels. You just might achieve standalone status. Are your leach lines from Cess pool down grade from well? If so all is well and you are on your way to greatness.

I wish I had something like that. I would just throw a good filter on the well line and check that sample once a year.

    Enjoy Lucius

Hmmm I'd be interested to know that as I am about to close on a home with a well. Heck I bought my own house and no one mentioned anything about that well but maybe because we also had city water. I use the well...much better water and it has to be better than the city...after all I KNOW they put flouride and chlorine in it...both highly toxic chemicals!
