Is Benny222 Board Hustling?

DaveT profile photo

In a response to a postcard production question, benny222 says that he has some templates available to anyone who is interested.

When I sent benny222 a PM, his e-mail response ended with

If you are interested I am only asking $20 for the entire package. I am not trying to get rich here, as I said before I know what its like to have little or no money to start with.

Here is the thread http://www.thecreativeinvestor.com/ViewTopic14711-30.html

Now this does seem to go against the spirit of freely sharing demonstrated in the forums. But I don't know if benny222 is violating one or more of the posting rules here.

I don't really know what board hustling is. My question is, did I just get hustled?

    DaveT,

Looks more like advertising, he sent me these forms but did not ask for any money.

He asked if they were a viable product to sell, I haven't answered him yet. No matter advertising is advertising.

Board hustling is when you see these posters telling everyone about the high dollar profit deal they just got (example MrsMeltzer) then the new person private messages them and the hustler comes back for x number of dollars I will mentor you.

You see it all the time on the boards, just watch how a person posts Solutions Kid is a channel partner but a real board hustler, I delete him quite oftet.

He emailed me for help in understanding how to put a deal togerther, so just because a person posts they have done a deal doesn't mean they know how to spell creative real estate investing.

Looks like Benny222 wants free constructive criticism from you on a product he is planning to market.

Thank you, John, for clearing up "board hustling" for me. I guess the Tax Forum and the Landlord Forum don't present themselves as opportunities for board hustling.
