What To Do When Beyond Repair?

Are there companies that buy old mobile homes that may be beyond repair? For scrap perhaps? The owner doesn't have money for repairs or removal.

Contact a handyman and tell him that he can have all the scrap. Or you can contact a used mobile home supply company and tell them to remove it for free and they can have all of the parts.

If you are feeling extremely entrepenuerial then hire some of the local guys and tell them to scrap it for a 50/50 split of what everyone gets at the scrap yard. If you have good wheels and axles on the base then you can scrap it on itself and strap it down like an open trailer and take it straight to the scrap yard. Since you are on the way there offer to take anyone elses junk metal and put it on top. I did this with one mobile and made 500 bucks, it cost me 20 bucks and 2 cases of beer to keep the troops going. lol Plus it was fun to watch them do it. We could have made more if we saved some of the items for the used mobile home supply, but I wanted it done that day to get rid of the eyesore.

    Good Luck,
    Kyle
