Need Help With A Mobile Home Foreclosure
Hello Everyone, I am new to this but I need all the advice and help that I can www.get.I am considering purchasing a mobile home that is in www.foreclosure.It appears that a title search has been done and the results are that there is no title and there never was www.one.This foreclosure is thru a bank but I am going thru a realtor to purchase it.Does anyone know IF you can title a mobile home if it never was titled?Also, how can I go about checking to see if there are any liens on this mobile home? It is on a lot and they have the deed to the lot but not the mobile home. HELP!!!
The question is what year is the mobile home? HUD put a cut off date in the mix awhile ago. If your mobile was built before june 17th 1976, then it was registered with the dept. of motor vehicles, which means no title co. was used. If the mobile was built after june 17th 1976 then it should have "HUD Tags" on it somewhere, probably on the rear of the coach. In this case title should have record of the mobile, if not have your title officer look into it for you..... 8-)
The mobile home is a www.2000.It was built by Champion Home Builders and there are several stickers on the mobile home that show permit numbers and so www.forth.The bank's attorneys are saying that they did a title search on this and the results were that it was never www.titled.I talked to DMV and they say if it was never titled the only way to title it is to find the owner before the bank took it back and make sure they had paid all taxes and payments on it and then it could possibley be www.titled.Of course the owner before the bank is nowhere to be found.,Actually I have his name but his phone has been www.disconnected.Our concern is that we will own the lot that the home sits on but we can't title the home that is sitting on it therefore we would not be able to sell it.Am I making any sense?
Can anyone tell me why it is adding a www. in front of some of my wording? Did I set myself up wrong somehow? I am not typing www. but it coming up when I post .[ Edited by littlebic on Date 08/17/2004 ]
