Manufactured Home Financing
Does anyone know how to get the proper insurance for manufactured home? This is NOT a mobile home, it is permanently fixed and we pay property taxes Not personal tax).
How do I go about educating insurance agents to get the proper type of quotes? There is so much confusion, once I mention Manufactured home the agents immediately think mobile home trailer.
I need to get rental insurance on a manufactured home and am stumped on how best to proceed. The numbers I am getting are so high (up to $2300/year for a $100K value.)

Do you own the home? The homeowner should insure their own home. In any case, you should probably refer to it as a house not a manufactured home. The insurance company will send out a rep. at some point to verify the condition of the house at which point they can make any adjustments they deem necessary at that time.
