Double Wide
Hello....I have come across an abandoned double wide on app. an acre. Has anyone tried to short a mobile home? The lender is Chase home finance, and I am currently trying to find out from them the price. It is in remarkably good shape. The neighbors told me it has been empty for 10 to 14 months.

Yes, they will short, generally no more than 80% though. Where is it located?
The home is in a rural area about 40 miles from Houston. I have, however, received a return call from the county appraissal district. The house and land do not appear to be on the same note. That makes it less valuable to me since it has to be moved.
