Do You Have To....???
be a dealer in order to buy and sell (flip) mobile homes without land? I am in New Mexico, and they have to be registered at Motor Vehicle Dept. so I was wondering if you had to be a dealer in order to do it. Is there a max per year or something or can I just go for it? Thanks, Scott

does anybody know where I can find the answer to this question?
What happens if you don't register them? I own 14 of them and have never registered any if I register them have to pay sales tax even if I buy them from an individual. I buy them from bank foreclosures and if i sell them i give the buyer the same title the bank gave me without ever putting them in my name.
