1st Bid On MH

Hey all,
Just wondering there is a mobile home that is a 1988 setting on about 6 acres of land, I have made a offer to the repo office and havent heard anything, do they normally counter ?
The price that he had told me was very high so I tried to figure out what the land was worth, and threw some in for improvements and put in about $17,000 for the trailer ( it needs some repairs)
my asking price was about half of what he said they wanted. This is my first time so should I just sit tight or give him a call back I sent the fax with the offer on Wed..

Thanks

I would say that its better to be rejected the first time than not to be. I also just made a offer of 20,000 on 2 doubles and i single not on land but new er than 96 mod. They countered at 34 and i have them down to 26 now. Try Try Try

The trailer at best is worth $1,000.00-$2,000.00 . I would base my bid strictly on the land value.
