What Kind Of Leads Can A Mortgage Brokre Give Me?
A mortgage broker recently asked me for a stack of my business cards. Maybe this is a dumb question but what kind of leads can a mortgage broker get me?
The only thing I can think of is that they can give me leads of buyers that can't get a loan (contract buyers). Do mortgage brokers ever run across people on the selling side of things??

Yes, but I would not say all the time. However if they are on the subprime side of lending they run across people who cant get a conventional loan or are in foreclosure and going to lose the house.
HOWEVER
They are not supposed to release any info to you they can only give your card to someone else so if the broker does not sell the pitch to the client good enough it wont fly.
Now what the broker is probably doing is trying to get your business.

Just tonight I closed on a great deal that the owner of a mortgage brokerage company setup for me and my partner...I'd say give him all the cards he wants...its just connections...somebody will say "yeah I know a guy that does that" or "Wait a sec...I know an investor that might be interested in this..."
People who are behind on their mortgage and can not refinance.
