Posting 2,000 Signs
Okay, so I am fairly new and will be posting my first batch of bandit signs.. Im concidering spending about a week 10hrs/day driving around and posting approx 2,000 signs within a 50-75 mile radius and in areas that are relevent.
What would you say the pros and cons are of doing this?
50-70 miles is a big area. I will take you longer than you think to put up these signs. Just the time in turning around when you found your choice spot and dealing with traffic will suprise you. It took me 4 days to put up 80 and I decided to put them up a 3:00 am to avoid traffic. Much faster.
Is your town that small that you have to put up in that big of a radius. Not that thats a bad idea or anything, but what are you going to do when people start calling in all the different areas. Also I would keep a stock pile because some of these will blow down or somehow become missing. I would say go for it. Off my 80 in a specific 3 zip code area nets me around 5 to 6 calls a week.
Thanks for the reply.. Yeah I bet it will take a long time to put that many up. I dont live in a real small town, I just figured that by getting the prime spots and having it spread out will give me better exposure, maybe not.. maybe farming would be better (and cheaper). I dont think that having a seller that far away is really a problem, if the deal is good then the deal is good, regardless of location (from what I can tell).. also from 3-5 calls a week.. how many do you typically close on? How many properties would you say is a good goal to set for closing per month/yr?
