Every investor I know uses a P.O. Box. Did you know that when you purchase an investment property it generates at least 50 pieces of junk mail. Therefore when you do purchase an investment property, it is a good idea to use a P.O. Box as your forwarding address for all tax statement mailings as this is where they get your address....
To answer you question, yes, I send to p.o. boxes and have had a good success rate with tired landlords.
I send letters/postcards based upon tax offices address of record.
