Has anyone ever sent out letters to Attorney, Mortgage Brokers and others to get leads on buying houses. These people deal with this all day. If so can you give a summery of what the letters say. We have be tossing this idea around for a while. We would send out the letters and push them to register on our website. (as referrals) Any ideas

    Hello Sire,
You are in a power of Sale state and the attorneys are the Trustees. They are reluctant to talk to us here in the St. Louis area. They told us the information isn't public until it gets to the legal papers. I would not discourage you from trying, this is just what me and my partners have found here in MO. The letter should tell who you are and what you are intending to do. Let them know that you are a local investor and you are looking for lists of people in foreclosure to help them from losing their homes. Give contact info for your self and send off. I would also follow up in a few days with a phone call or personal apperance. It cant hurt!! Mortgage borkers is a great way to generate leads. You have to work the advertising any way you can, to make it work in your area.
    Good luck

Thanks. Alot of people are afraid to answer the marketing question. I know there are plenty of houses for all you just have to find them.
