Logo Design.. Do These Internet Companies Work?

chris1220 profile photo

I'm looking for a company that can professionally finish my company logo. I know how I want it to look, but I have no artistic ability whatsoever.
I did a google search for " business logo design" and of course there were amillion different choices. I've been using the logo that I've created on Microsoft Word, so far, but I want to step it up a notch.... Any suggestions???
Thanks

Depends on how much you're willing to spend.

www.elance.com will have a lot of graphics folks available, but they're not necessarily cheap.

www.vbulletin.org is a discussion forum community for a bulletin board software product - but there are some kick-ass graphic artists there who will work on for peanuts. There's a forum for work requests - but you have to register to post your requirements (it's free to register).

www.worth1000.com will have some graphics folks, too, but I'm not sure whether they will work reasonably. You can have a "corporate contest" for folks to design your logo for some kind of prize.

    Hope this helps!

I highly recommend using www.elance.com It is an ebay company and you can post your project and just put in there that you require mockups from all bidders. You'll get 20-40 different designs from different graphic artists all for free. Once you see a general idea of the style you are looking for at the right price you can go from there.

I think I paid $100 for my logo from a guy in the Ukraine. I am extremely happy with it and have had this same guy do more work for me since then.

    GOOD LUCK

Sitepoint's great, too! www.vbulletin.org is the same type of place.

It's fun to see other techies here. :-D

    Check out:
    www.logodesignguru.com

i have worked with them in the past. They are very cheap and will provide you with about 6 or 7 logo designs to choose from.

They also can animate the logo they design for you for placement on a website. Check out my website www.forefrontipg.com. It's not a real estate website, but the entire website was designed by logodesignguru. Check it out!!

If I remember correctly, they charge a flat rate of $750.00. For this price, they will guarantee a logo you will be happy with.

I have found designers on Ebay who have done a fantastic job for a reasonable rate.

we used www.logoelf.com, very reasonable and professional. Great work gave us a few different options to choose from.

I went to SitePoint and started a contact for my logo. In under 24 hours there were almost 20 different designs to look at. My contest ends on the 27th so I expect to have many more to choose from by then. Try it. It really works.
