    CBuford,

You could use something similar to my example vacant homeowner letter that is available in the marketing freebies section here:

    Best of luck,

Hello Jason. I was wondering what font did you use for that? That is very creative and I love that idea. I have used a couple of handwritting fonts but none look at good as yours.

On a seperate note do you have any good ideas for marketing to people in bankruptcy? I feel this is an area that not many investors are going after and I wanted to make it my niche.

    Thanks

    InvestorNC,
I ordered a online e-book, which was written on how to market to attorneys. One of the types of attorneys they targeted were bankruptcy attorneys. They stated that a lot of people still cannot make house payments after their bankruptcy. Who better to refer these people to someone who can help then but the attorneys. That may be one area you would want to look at, maybe as an alternative to contacting the people in bk. THey may not b to receptive to someone knowing about their situation (even though it is public record). If you can build a buisness relationship with a bk attorney to forward you referrals (what you offer him is up to you), you may get more true motivates sellers because they will trust the opinion of their bk attorney. Just a thought.

    cbuford,

Thanks for the information. Have you used Pacer before? I was wondering what things I should be looking for on Pacer. I heard someone trying to sell something the other day and that is what got me thinking about marketing to people in bankruptcy. Have you done any deals using the course you bought?

If you are referring to the font in the headline, then it is Monotype Corsiva.

    Jason,

I was talking about the example you have in the download section that is a pdf file. http://www.find-real-estate-investing-deals.com/examples/handwritten_letter.pdf
I have to take my hat off to you. Your idea to use yellow paper with lines is brilliant. Thanks for the great information.

That is not a font. It is my actual handwriting. You write it, scan it, and print it. The trick is getting it to line up on the yellow lined paper when you print.

You can leave space to ad "Dear So-and-So" at the top of the note. Personalization increases response if it is practical to do.

I am glad you like the idea. Hope it works well for you like it has for me.

    Jason
