I am from CT and there are plenty of deals for under 100k. Yes they may need some work but they are out there. I didnt think there were either until i started find many props under 100. A lot of people that bought their houses about 5-10 years ago have some low loans and when they foreclose you can get them pretty cheap.

Just keep your eyes open and try some new marketing strategies. Let me know how it turns out.

i recently signed up for the training courses after attending a seminar...as a matter of fact i start on the 18th of this month. i am a complete newbie but i do like the fact that they provide you with people to call to assist you if you have any problems...they should expect plenty of calls from me :-D .

Do you feel it was money and time well spent. Or just picking up his book would of served you good?

I went to the 3 day course. It was a pretty for background information and a general overview and introduction to REI. In retrospect it probably wasnt worth the 3k, but it got me into the business. I sacraficed some money while i was poor in college to go and I am glad I did.
