Besides the more common guerrilla marketing techniques (bandit signs, direct mail, flyers etc) what has been some of the most successful guerrilla marketing campaigns for some of your business?

ibuyhousesinc that sounds like an awesome idea, even if it only lets people know how your company appreciates education and schools.

Are you wanting to do a reverse lookup on a name you already have or get a mailing list to do a marketing campaign?

    Nathan,
I would not recommend Emmatek. They are lacking customer service and the word on the street is that they do not perform and are indeed going out of business. I have an investor friend in Texas who used them for his direct mail and was not satisfied at all with the results. You are better off using the post office and they will handle all of your mailing campaigns.

Emmatek also has a software program they offer called FortuneMaker. They came out to our local real estate club and sold it earlier this year. Most of our members returned it due it major glitches in the software program and the data being incorrect.

    Jason:

Were those Canon printers laser? If so, what model?

  • worknomore3rd October, 2005

    Clintastic,

For printing postcards, its not the best use of a color laser. The resolution of color laser printers is not very good (1200 x 600 etc). So the picture will not look good. I have the oki 5200ne. It does a decent job printing the logo. But thats just about it. For the 2.5" diameter logo the color cartridges can handle about 3000 of those. Chow much ost of the cartridges is around $400. So figure it will cost to print a image on a post card.

If you do decide to buy a laser printer, take your artwork to the shop and print your artwork on the paper you decide to use. The print samples are very misleading and I think are optimised to show good quality which you will never see when printing your day to day stuff.

For color laser printer, I will recommend the HP. They are slower the print quality is reasonable.
