For Sale By Owner

Hi I just bought two homes and will be looking to sell them in the next couple of months. I do not want to use a realtor as it will eat into profits. Does anyone know any good resources where I can learn about FSBO? Is it really that complicated? The homes are still being built and the day they are ready i plan to sell them. Therefore the inspections that go along with sellign the home shouldnt be much of a problem. Please let me know if selling myself is a good idea or not. Thank you for you time and patience...

not true...that is only the case if the COMMUNITY So chooses to put on those restrictions but either way there are NEVER any restrictions that you cannot sell the home. That would not make sense...

As far as your purchase contract form ... you can go to the local board of realtor office and buy the CAR form to use. The forms are sold to the public.

I see and hear a lot of problems happen when FSBO "try" to re-invent the wheel" or use inferior contracts lacking very important clauses and condition terms for your protection.

I'm always a big fan of saving money, but occasionally realtors actually make you more than you might think.

With a good realtor, you might just be abel to 'presell' your house(s) before the work is complete - what would that be worth to you?

Since you'll pay 3% to have them listed on MLS, don;t you think it might be worthwile to at lease interview a few realtors that have their pulse on the local building market to see if they can help you?
