Flyer Distrbution Companies

results_one profile photo

Hi:
Well here's the problem. I am focusing on flyers as one of my main methods of advertising for now. In order to be effective, I need to distribute at least 2,000-3,000 and I do not want to take a month to do it--which will happen if I do it myself. I know that I can get highschool kids or friends to help do it but I need someone REALLY reliable with the manpower to be efficient and effective. Has anyone used a flyer distribution company before? What is your opinion of their services?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!! smile

An alternative to fliers is postcards. You can set up a carrier route delivery and even specify what types of properties to deliver to... omitting shops, stores, commercial and vacant properties.

Check with the post office to set it up. They even have a program that allows you to email them the file you'll use and they'll print the cards for you.

With everything involved it usually averages about 13-17 cents per card.

I personally pay more heed to things in my mailbox than I do to papers stuffed in my screen door. Post cards to me just seem a little more official, but that's just my opinion.

The problem with fliers is that unless you do it yourself, you'll never be sure they were all delivered properly. You could drive around and follow up on your carriers, but I'd reather spend my time doing deals and letting Mr. Postman deliver for me.

I use a local newspaper. They will insert flyers to homeowners in an area I choose. I can choose a town or an area that I want to reach. I recently started this with 2500 flyers. I got 8 calls. Actual cost was .11 per delivered copy
    Good luck

I will also try postcards, but flyers are where I am going to start because they are cheaper overall.

    as a footnote
I buy yellow recycled paper at Office max at $6 per 500, My printing costs for 2500 pages are $.04 each ($106) and the paper inserts them at $50 per 1000.

I also tru to find an UNRELATED company to share the expence with me. They use one side and I use the other. This way the costs can be halved. Just an idea.
    Good luck Joe
