Expired Listings

How does one gain access to expired listings? Do I just ask a realtor to send me their expired listings? Should I pay them for this service since they are expired?

Is there a website that offers this service?

Does anyone have a script for contacting these type of owners?

Thanks,

Nate

Expired listings are a source of income to Realtors.
We investigate and pursue Expireds, offering to Relist or bring a Buyer, assuming that the homeowner is still motivated to sell.
Ergo, there is a value to the Realtor for Expireds, so you should assume you will compensate the Realtor who provides you with Expired listing information.

Btw, its true what IBUY said about every good realtor calling expired listings. Although, many sellers are fedup with their house not being sold the first, second, or even at times third try..they still arent willing to spend the effort trying to market it on their own when they noticed a realtor cant even sell their home. It is rare to see a house not sell in my local area the first time when its listed on the MLS though.
