Empty And Boarded Properties
Does anyone know a way to locate the property owners for empty and boarded properties. Thus far, I have sent letters to the person whose name was on the most recent tax bill. Most of my letters came back stamped "vacant" or "attempted not known"
the tax rolls which are public info have the property and mailing address.

I have tired the tax rolls records. Usually, the address on the tax rolls record is the address of the boarded, empty property. So I send a letter to the person whose name appears on the tax record and the letter comes back to me. On the letter is stamped, return to sender, attempted not known, unable to forward.
